Digital ignition ZDG3 for BMW R models with Bosch three-phase alternator, replacement for contact and centrifugal governor or the early electronic ignition.The optical sensor is mounted on the alternator. The single channel electronics drives the two original 6V ignition coils in series (1.5O-3O) or a 12V dual ignition coil (2O-5O), e.g. Dyna-Mini-2.
For dual ignition operation we recommend the dual channel version ZDG 3.23.
